 "Swiss Chard"

Bright Light spinach is biennial · Swiss chard's leafy green leaves are tender with a bitter taste when eaten raw. Once cooked, the bitterness dissipates, turning into a mild, sweet taste similar to spinach. Can take heat, drought and cold · Full sun · Pick leaves regularly to promote new growth · 'Bright' stems look pretty in the garden. 

Partial to full sun. Plant 20-30 cm apart for best results in planter boxes or the ground. Water the soil only, not the plant.
