"Gazania rigens" - Perennial evergreen-Full sun in well drained soil.

The Gazania family is yet another of South Africa's indigenous gems that provide unbeatable colour. They are known as 'Botterblomme' in Afrikaans and are often referred to as 'Treasure Flowers' in English. Gazanias are evergreen, herbaceous perennials. They produce large, daisy-like composite flowerheads in brilliant shades of yellow and bright orange white, plum and deep burnt orange. Gazania plants are drought-tolerant and do not require much watering. Overwatering your plants can lead to root rot and powdery mildew.
