The Tiger fig also know as panache or 'striped fig' has a citrus flavor on the inside of the pink flesh with green and yellow striped skin makes the Tiger Fig unlike any other variety; they are harvested late because they take all summer to develop high sugar content. Once fully ripe, the fruit has a rich, jam-like texture and consistency. Fresh figs are rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, and beta-carotene. Dried figs are a rich source of Vitamin B6, which helps in maintaining cholesterol levels of the body, leading to easy digestion of food.
